Forest fires started on 28 July 2021 in Manavgat, Antalya.
299 fires occurred in 49 provinces predominantly in the Mediterranean, Aegean, Marmara, Western Black Sea and Southeastern Anatolia Regions.
While 8 people lost their lives in the fires, hundreds of thousands of hectares of forests and settlements were turned into ashes, and thousands of animals died.

On October 30, 2020 at 14:51 earthquake was experienced in Turkey that has 6.9 intensity according to KOERI data. The earthquake, which lasted for about 16 seconds, caused a tsunami in Seferihisar in Izmir and destroyed in Bayraklı and Bornova regions. According to the latest data, dozens of our citizens were left homeless in the earthquake in which 116 citizens lost their lives.
